The Unannounced (Revised)

Her face visits
In the dark
When I'm unarmed
Parked
In sleep

Her face visits
Draped in angel blonde
Eyes sparkle
Lips part in whisper
I love you

Her face visits
Slices my
Beating heart … into thin pieces on a paper plate

Very evocative. The poem and photo fit to perfection. Well done!

How lovely. I love the title, too.

"...In the dark

Parked

Her face? Many meanings here. Could be a fixation? Or a vision haunting your poet? Or actual glimpses of her regularly?

I'd like to think visions of her. As I cannot visualize the poem gives me a bit of what I am missing.

Very nicely written. The photo directs our thoughts to a young person but it can just as well portray any female who comes to the reader's mind.
