If my brain exposed
its inner matter revealed
would look like worn books
2
Roses warm my soul
Magnolia’s sweet smell smiles
But old books, scent breath
3
Sacrilegious dust
and master’s words never touch
in my library
4
Wisdom weeps on bookshelves
Orphans pleading to be picked
Know me, love me, please

Awesome collection - Haiku 1, 3 and 4 are my favorites of these ... however, I like them all! Magnificent tree as well!!
Five times amazing = stupendous!
Hands down my favorite is number 4. I love Haiku :) Thanks for visiting my blog
Wowza! I love them all. "Words tattoo your soul."
Loved them all! :)
Swearing off Short lines eh? You have been caught! Henry - these are terrific. And to think, each poem is about books (yes, I know - - that is the theme) Actually they are quite brilliant!

Great! I, along with so many others, love #4.
And as for the tree - it is spooky, but I really like that about it. I'm new to your blog, so if you're tired of it go for it and make the change, but as a first timer, it makes a great impression. So, not sure how you count that as a vote, but that's what I think. :o)
Loved them all too - still want the tree!

Now that's what I call value for syllables! First one my fave.
I, too, love the scent of old books.
Keep the tree! Five v.good haiku. Thanks.
