Half-ness (Friday Poetically)

How can the same sun
That made your face glow
When we were first one
Be the same sun
I hide from
In the half-ness
Of our home

Poignant piece, Loved the theme, carefully woven words, short and encompassing in it a long very sadness. Good work!

I just feel the loneliness in these verses..The very word 'half-ness' speaks volumes of solitude! Great work...short, yet deep! ...Beautiful!

A stunning poem and not so long ago I was there, so I know the pain well. Were working on things though

Excellent, brief but with a brevity that indicates nothing more can be said to say it better or deeper.
